On October 22, 2023, East town Banquet Hall on 2648 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, became a vibrant hub of cultural joy as the Nepalese Canadian community service (NCCS) hosted a spectacular celebration. The event, dedicated to Dashain, Tihar, Chhat, and Nepal Sambat, unfolded into a mesmerizing musical night.
Renowned Nepali singers Kulendra Bishwokarma and Tika Prasain, accompanied by a lineup of talented local artists, took center stage, captivating an enthusiastic audience of approximately 300 attendees. The melodious tunes and cultural performances resonated with the festive spirit, bringing the rich traditions of Nepal to life in the heart of Scarborough.
