Toronto, April 5, 2025 — Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS) Canada is proud to announce the successful completion of its Blood and Plasma Donation Program, held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Canadian Blood Services (CBS) Scarborough location.
This life-saving initiative, organized in partnership with the Nepalese Blood Donor Association, brought together 20 dedicated donors from the community who came forward to make a difference. Their generous contributions not only supported Canada’s vital blood supply but also reflected the unwavering compassion and unity of the Nepali diaspora in Canada.
The program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood and plasma donation, particularly within underrepresented communities. More importantly, it demonstrated how collaboration between community organizations can result in impactful, meaningful change.
“Our heartfelt thanks go to every donor who participated in this noble effort,” said Bina Berma and Suresh Gautam, Presidents of NCCS and NBDA Canada, respectively. “Your willingness to help others in need embodies the very essence of community spirit and humanitarian values.”
NCCS Canada also extends sincere appreciation to the Nepalese Blood Donor Association for their essential partnership and coordination, which helped make this event a success.
Together, we are not only saving lives but also building a stronger, more compassionate community rooted in altruism and care.
