Dear Respected Community Members,

On Sunday, March 7th, 2010, the NCCS held the very first ever Nepali community celebration of International Women's Day or Naari Diwas Din.

It was a grand success. With a room full of 100 people, we celebrated what it means to be a woman struggling with problems in various areas such as finance, health, education, employment etc.

I would like to thank my team and supporters for helping me make this event as successful as it was. As well I would like to thank Kripa Bhandari, Shama Upadhyay, Shristi Purna Ghimery, Rashmita Karki, Namrata Pradhan, Kamala Rupakheti, Shova Adhikari, Radhika Kharel, Biswo Berma, Govind Singh Rawat, Jimmy Ghimery, and Prakash Pradhan for being our guest speakers and sharing your knowledge and opinions on various topics with others in our community. Your contribution at the event is greatly appreciated.

Finally I would like to immensly thank everyone who came out and joined us that day. Without you, our organization is nothing, thank you!! I hope we will continue celebrating Intl Women's Day for years to come.

If anyone would like any information regarding anything that was presented that day (contact info of any of the speakers, business cards etc) then please feel free and contact us and we will gladly assist you.

See you all again at upcoming events,
